Our Story
It started with a large, loud, hard working Dominican family. I was the only girl with three brothers and parents who were entrepreneurs before I even knew what that word meant. I was raised in a creative environment, so it wasn’t a surprise that I decided to study Fashion. Fashion took me around the world and I was able to experience Fashion Weeks with designers like Oscar de Renta and Carolina Herrera. However, after experiencing many health-related roadblocks I was left questioning what’s next in my life, and I began writing. Through my writing Dear God, Are We There Yet? was created. It began as book, then launched a Podcast, and now it is a social service marketplace.
I quickly realized this is bigger than just helping one person at a time. Our vision is to provide life changing volunteer experiences that make an impact to help communities one question, one conversation at a time. We are bringing a different approach to volunteering whether in person or online.
We want to cultivate a socially conscious mindset that provides a time-shared approach for generations to come.
